DescriptionThis is an inviting and comfortable three bedroom maisonette offering uninterrupted seaviews from the living room and master bedroom. The property occupies the first and second floors of a house dating back to the 1820s on the seafront road of the ancient and historic seaside village of Rottingdean. The vibrant and bustling city of Brighton & Hove is a short bus or car ride away and the port of Newhaven(with regular ferry connections to Dieppe) is about a 30 minute drive away. The maisonette has a bright kitchen with pine cupboards and black worksurfaces, a pine table and 4 chairs, electric cooker, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, cafetiere and all crockery and cutlery needed for your stay. There are views of Rottingdean over the roofs and a spiral metal staircase (not suitable for young children or the unsteady) down to a sunny patio area with table and chairs. South facing living room with wonderful uninterrupted seaviews, wooden flooring and rug, mantelpiece and electric fire, cream coloured leather 3 seater and 2 seater sofas with matching chair, TV with Freesat, DVD, WiFi access and telephone set for incoming calls, occasional tables and lamps. Doors opening up onto a small balcony. Although this room is directly above the main seafront road, it is double-glazed and therefore you are protected from the usual traffic noise. Off this room you have a twin bedded room with metal frame beds, pine wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bathroom with shower over bath and basin. Separate cloakroom with wc. Upstairs you have a further two bedrooms: master bedroom with king-sized bed, dressing table, chest of drawers and wardrobe, plus uninterrupted views of the sea. Single bedroom overlooking the roofs of Rottingdean, with fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers. Non smokers only but smoking is allowed on the balcony or in the patio. No pets.
