Person Specification

We are looking for an experienced negotiator to take on a newly created role within the Best of Brighton business.

Sales

Predominantly looking after holiday and corporate sales leads, you will be responsible for working with corporate booking agencies to secure the best deal for our homeowners and us. The role will also involve generating new corporate contacts within the Brighton area and nationwide online leads, visiting sites and networking with local businesses to ensure we are the first name for sales and property leads in the City.

You will also work with our online booking software to process new bookings, deal with day to day booking leads and ensure accurate calendars are maintained.

Recruitment

Another vital aspect of this role is new property recruitment, working with the Manager, Brighton to ensure we recruit the best properties in the area and negotiate terms with new homeowners.

You'll be keen to seek out new homeowner enquiries across Brighton and Sussex and be prepared to take on leads ranging from here in the city to up to an hour away from town.

Administration

Supporting the team with processing supplier invoices

Managing property annual inspections

Ensuring customer issues are dealt with promptly and effectively.

About You

You will be an engaging, confident and positive person with a great work ethic. You'll be a great people person with proven 'soft-sell' negotiation skills. You'll be empathetic and extremely self aware and enjoy working in a changing, fast paced office.

This is a senior role within the team, taking a lead in the absence of the Manager, Brighton, so you should be comfortable with taking responsibility and accountability.

You will enjoy being seen by our property owners as the person to go to.

This is a Full Time position, 5 days a week, 37.5 hours, 9-5, with some evening event attendance and occasional Saturdays required.

Sales

  • Servicing the needs of new and existing holiday and corporate clients

Property

  • Property recruitment visits
  • Speaking with new and existing homeowners about improving property performance.

Admin & Property Management Tasks

  • Dealing with repairs and liaising with suppliers on jobs to be done
  • Liaising with homeowners and customers
  • Refunding security deposits
  • Chasing overdue deposits and payments
  • Property Inspections
