Our fantastic team of 4 are all true Brightonians and LOVE the city that they live and work in. Working in our North Laine office, they are all on hand to help with any enquiries that you have and would love for you to pop in and say hi whilst you are on holiday. Have a read of their team profiles below and get to know the guys!
I have lived in Brighton and Hove for nearly 20 years and can’t imagine living anywhere else. I live very close to the beach and love the fact that when it’s a sunny day, my family and I can pack up a picnic and be on the beach within 10 minutes!
One of my favourite activities is walking and I really enjoy the walk into Brighton along the long promenade and then enjoying a coffee (and cake!) in one of the many cafes Brighton has to offer. I feel very lucky to work in an industry that I love; I recruit all the properties for Best of Brighton and really enjoy viewing them, meeting new homeowners and advising and guiding them through the holiday let process.
Whilst travelling to different parts of the world is my greatest passion, returning to my hometown Brighton always puts a smile on my face. What can I say ... I am a born and bred Brightonian and proud to say it! I love living so close to the sea and running along the undercliff from Rottingdean towards Brighton is a great way to unwind after a busy day at work. The wide range of restaurants, as well as the many attractions, in Brighton makes it a great place to visit and if you are a fan of Japanese food then you must go to Pompoko in the North Laines.
I have worked for Best of Brighton for five years and my role has evolved from part-time reservations assistant to marketing co-ordinator. I love how varied my job is and every day brings something different!
The great thing for me about living in Brighton is within minutes I can be strolling on the beach, taking a walk in the South Downs countryside or enjoying all that the city has to offer. I recently joined Best of Brighton in October 2018 and now I get to appreciate the city even more as I get to promote it and the lovely homes within it every day.
Meeting new people is something that I really enjoy. I get a great sense of satisfaction working in a job where I get to help people find the best accommodation for their stay, whether they are here for a holiday, to study or on business. It’s great having our office based in the lively North Laines, with so many lovely places to eat and shop, I can always get a tasty bite to eat for lunch. When I finish work I am in the centre of town so I can easily go to a play, gig, concert, restaurant or cosy pub or have an evening picnic on the beach. I never get tired of looking at the architecture of the Pavilion and the many squares and crescents on the seafront.
When I am not doing all of these or walking in the country I enjoy DJ-ing on a local community radio station. I also love the fact that Gatwick Airport is only a 30 minute train journey away for getting away and coming back again!
Before starting my studies at Sussex University, I visited Brighton on many occasions during the holidays with my friends and family – so I definitely understand the appeal! Coming from a seaside town myself, I easily felt at home here. Although, I now feel like nothing quite compares to Brighton. I’ve fallen in love with the vibrant city as there’s always something going on to keep me occupied! The coffee and food scene in the North Laine’s are just my cup of tea, there’s always a new place to try!!
I’ve already loved exploring all the best dog walking spots in the south downs when my parents bring my cockapoo, Max, down to visit. However, my favourite part would definitely have to be testing all the Sunday Roast diners in the area!! Seven Stars, Brighton is a personal favourite so far…
