Now that the weather is beginning to get warmer why not go and visit some of the beautiful countryside surrounding Brighton? Jump on Brighton’s number 77 bus and sit back, relax and take in the stunning views whilst it takes you on a journey to Devil’s Dyke.

Devil’s Dyke is situated on top of a hill in the South Downs National Park and has stunning views across the hilly countryside. It is the perfect destination for amateur or experienced hikers to set off on long walks up and over the hills. Alternatively, for those (like me) who would rather sit and watch the world go by there is always an ice cream van sitting at Devil’s Dyke that offers fantastic Mr Whippy ice creams! Devil’s Dyke is a prime location for paragliders to take off from therefore you can sit and watch the colourful parachutes zig-zagging across the sky. If you are feeling adventurous you can even book to have a go yourself!

If you are worn out from a long day hiking/sitting around doing nothing, then the Devil’s Dyke Country Pub is the perfect place to spend your evening. Offering a large variety of quality pub food and drinks this cosy retreat is a great place to reminisce about your fantastic day!

There are so many fantastic places to visit right on the doorstep of Brighton and with frequent tour busses that take you right there, you have no excuse not to go and see them!
