Love Supreme Jazz Festival
Returning this weekend from the 3 – 5 July is the Love Supreme Jazz Festival at Glynde Place! Run in association with Jazz FM the festival was established in 2013 and this year it is expected to be bigger and better than ever! Set against the backdrop of Glynde Place – a magnificent Elizabethan manor house sitting proudly over the South Downs National Park – the jazz festival has a number of stages, arenas, and bars from which a range of music will be performed by artists from around the globe. With a family friendly atmosphere and great food and drink accompanying the music, this festival certainly offers a unique, one of a kind experience!
Glynde Place is found in the charming village of Glynde which is also the home to the world renowned Glyndebourne Opera House. Situated just outside of Lewes and a half an hour train journey from Brighton this beautiful village is very easily accessible which makes it the perfect location for the festival.
Headlining the show this year are the legendary ‘Queen of Funk’ Chaka Khan and multi-Grammy award winner Van Morrison. Amongst these headliners, other fantastic artists include Dianne Reeves, Candi Staton, Jorrod Lawson, and Hiatus Kaiyote.
If you are enthusiastic about Jazz and like the sound of this festival then there are still tickets available on their website. With the beautiful weather, a stunning setting, delicious food and drink, and fantastic music this will certainly be a weekend to remember!
