With miles of beautiful coastline and the South Downs National Park all on the city’s doorstep brighton & Hove and the surrounding areas offer plenty of opportunities to relax.
As temperatures soar in the summer months it’s not an unusual sight to see a melange of locals and holidaymakers chilling out on the beach with their deck chairs, blankets and barbecue’s with sweet smells wafting through the air.
There are plenty of venues across the city that offer the perfect viewing point to while away the hours and people watch from beach front cafes to street corners. Offering an interesting cocktail or walks, fascinating history, boat trips, arts and entertainment there are plenty of places to relax and let time pass by - It’s what Brighton is famous for!
If, like us, you like to be pampered and are partial to a treatment or two then some of the independently owned businesses in the area will be sure to make you smile. The Treatment Rooms in the city centre is one of our favourites or you could always opt for a therapist to visit your holiday let- now that would be a treat! Other venues offering spa day packages on site are the Grand in Brighton and Alexander House, Ockenden Manor or Bailiffs Court if you don't mind a short drive.
