Brighton Big Screen has set itself up on Brighton beach for another summer jammed full of films, live sport and other events. The fun kicked off on Saturday 28th July with a big launch day full of live music on the beach and will conclude on the 28th August. Located just to the east of Brighton Pier, the seafront screen is the largest beachfront cinema in the UK, making it the perfect place to watch all your favourite films.
There will be a mix of the latest blockbusters, family films and some of the classics on show such as La La Land, Moonlight, Beauty and the Beast, Mean Girls and many more. If you are a real cinema junkie you can buy a season pass which gives you access to over 100 films being shown over the summer.
One of the highlights will be on the final weekend when there will be a screening of The Quadrophenia Experience which is all about the infamous rivalry between Mods and Rockers on Brighton beach in the 1960s. This rivalry culminated in a number of fights over one bank holiday weekend which made national news. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with some of the stars of the film, and will conclude with more live music.
If you fancy watching some films in comfort then you could purchase a VIP ticket which grants you access to a special beach garden area and includes a meal and welcome drink. You can even watch the films whilst relaxing in a bed! Films will be shown in all weather but with a VIP ticket you don’t need to worry about getting soaked as included within the package is a premium seat in the covered grandstand.
With over 100 films to choose from there will be something for everyone’s tastes, so make sure you don’t miss out - grab yourself a ticket today!
