We had a wonderful stay at Little Orchard. The house is beautifully decorated and is so clean. We loved using the garden and it was such a treat to see the beautiful horses. Thank you for the basket of goodies - what an unexpected, brilliant treat! Our 4-legged pals, Bailey and Norman also had the best time. The forest at the back of the property is pure bliss. Thank you.
We absolutely loved our stay at Little Orchard! The cottage is beautiful and a perfect place to relax. We visited Bodiam, Rye, Battle and Old Hastings, walked in the woods & visited the beach at Camber Sands & Winchelsea. Had a great meal at The Queen's Head in Seddlescombe, fabulous fish and chips at Maggie's in Old Hastings & got a great selection of food for the BBQ from Buster's Farm Shop. Thank you Dan and Lindsay for the wonderful welcome basket - Tommy enjoyed his too! We will definitely recommend the cottage to family and friends.
First week away since lockdown - and what a treat it was. Our first trip to a pub and a restaurant too in 4 month. What a lovely area for it. We enjoyed lovely walks in teh woods & trips to Sissinghurst & Battle and we made good use of the BBQ! And of course the local vineyards. Hope your business continues to pick up after lockdown & thanks for a lovely stay.
We've had a lovely week here. Our young granddaughter thought it was all amazing, at 'the holiday house'. Lovely weather. Camber Sands at 9am was great, but was getting very busy later in the morning as we left!! Great produce from Browns Farm Shop and Buster's Farm Shop. Bodiam Castle is worth a visit - you need to book at present. Thank you very much. P.S. The sparkling wine from the local vineyard is great!!
We have had a lovely time here in Little Orchard. The accommodation is excellent, clean and fresh. We have felt very at home here. It has been a great base to stay in, allowing us visits to Rye, Bexhill and Bodiam Castle. We had mixed weather but we expected it for this time of year. We loved coming back and putting on the log burner. We would have loved to attend the fireworks on Saturday but the rain kept us away. We had 2 lovely meals at The Squirrels Inn near Battle on Saturday evening and a carvery Sunday lunchtime. We hope to return to the area and will definitely look to book this accommodation again.
