Sleeping up to 14 people Escheatlands comprises three beautifully renovated barns with all modern conveniences but retaining charm and character.  They are located in a stunning setting amidst beautiful countryside on a working farm.  The properties all feature sliding patio doors making the most of the lovely views and allowing in plenty of natural light.  The barns are in a tranquil secluded valley, but within easy reach of both medieval Rye and the pretty town of Tenterden where there are plenty of individual shops, cafes restaurants and historic buildings to visit.  This is a great area for the whole family with Bodiam boating station just down the road where you can hire a boat on the River Rother, or take a steam train via Bodiam Castle or Tenterden.  The coast is under half an hour away with miles of beautiful beach at Camber Sands, where you can go sand yachting, kite buggying or just chill out amongst the sand dunes.  With so much to do on the doorstep there will be something to suit everybody and you may need a return visit.  Shop: 3    Pub: 1.4  Coast: 9.2

Having the 3 barns in one location was perfect for our needs of using 1 barn for each of our 3 family units. The larger barn “Reynards” with it’s good size outside space was ideal for all 3 family units to congregate in after a day out. We had 4 children with us aged between 5 & 15 & they had a great time. The location was great for visiting things such as beaches & castles
