Lovely property spotlessly clean. Good location neighbours very friendly. Great local pub with excellent food. Our 90 year old Dad came with us and found the property easy to get around. Only one very small criticism the bathroom door opening inwards in his bedroom made it a little difficult for him to use the amenities as he has a walking frame. On the whole a wonderfully comfortable place to stay we would love to visit again.
We were delighted on arrival to find the Parlour was very clean and spacious - an ideal space for 5 adults to share. The large garden and attractive terrace with comfortable patio furniture is a great feature of the property. The Parlour is well located with direct access to country walks and a short walk from the Red Lion pub where we enjoyed several meals and a warm welcome. Many thanks for a lovely week in the beautiful East Sussex countryside.
This is a lovely home from home which suited our 3-generational 2yrs - 69 yrs old family group perfectly. Although the weather was poor when we were there, the house was cosy and warm and we still managed to go to the nearby beaches every day with the children and avoid the rain.
A comfortable, well equipped cottage in a beautiful location convenient for Rye nature reserve, Winchelsea and many other lovely places in East Sussex/Kent. Perfect for my 82 year old mother. Absolutely spotless and nice to know owner on site if any help needed. Will definitely be back to explore more of this area and although we didn’t try to local shopping in Broad Oak as parking looked tricky, we found Jempsons in Rye more than adequate.
