Reviews

Wonderful place to relax in after exploring the beautiful countryside. We walked in many of the nearby forests and fields: you don't need a car to stay and enjoy this area! The house is so cosy and comforting, it truly felt like home for the week and it's made us want to stay in other areas of High Weald as it's so beautiful. We love all of the wildlife (we saw so many bunnies and deer!) and we're still amazed by the view from all angles of the house. The garden is so lovely to sit in, especially in the evenings when the sun is setting. We appreciate the soft blankets. Thanks!

Mr Jakub S,

Thank you for the wonderful stay in Winters Barn Cottage. We couldn't have found a more perfect place to spend our honeymoon. Everything we could ever need was here. We were happily surprised to be greeted with a 'Just Married' sign on the front door! Stunning location, excellent views and such a tranquil spot. Hope we can come back in the winter months so we can make use of the wood burner!

Will and F,

Our second visit to Winters Farm Cottage coincided with a heatwave -we were grateful very for the fan!... Thank you so much. The cottage and the surrounding area are just as wonderful as we remembered. A perfect place for a restful holiday during both a heatwave and a global pandemic!

Mr Richard P,

We've had a fantastic rest at this gorgeous cottage. Your care and the thought put into the cottage is very much appreciated and enjoyed. We will definitely be recommending this gorgeous cottage to friends and family.

Mrs Natalie B,

Absolutely first class accommodation and an idyllic setting. The cottage has everything you could possibly want, and is so cosy and warm. Take advantage of the local walks, right on the doorstep - our dog thoroughly enjoyed them, as did we!! Great location for exploring East Sussex and Kent. We will be recommending Winters Farm Cottage to family and friends for sure, and hope to return again.

Nena B,

I could write reams about our wonderful stay in the cottage. I realised that I only need to write two words: ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!! Thank you so, so much!

Mrs Ann W,

Your cosy cottage provides everything needed, in a glorious, remote setting...Delightful to eat apples from the tree, and cut rhubarb and dahlias! Thank you both so much for creating a country retreat we hope to visit again.

Mrs Valeria B,

Once again, we much enjoyed our stay at Winters Farm Cottage... We have found the peace and quiet, wonderful views and varied wildlife very restorative. Thank you again for your kind and generous hospitality.

Mr Stephen M,

Thank you for the Welcome Pack, which was a pleasant surprise and appreciated. The cottage is beautiful, well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's the finishing touches and the thought that goes into everything that makes it even more special and memorable. Lovely quality touches - too many to list, but I liked the quality bed linen, towels, extra cushions on the sofa and even a blanket. You really have thought of everything... Thank you.

Mr Bill T,

Winters Farm Cottage is probably the best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. Beautiful location, friendly helpful owners and a wonderful cottage. Couldn’t fault it in any way.

Mr John H,
