Meadow View offers exactly that; wonderful views across the rolling Sussex countryside. This delightfully converted first floor annex, which is attached to the owner's house, has been comfortably furnished with lots of attention to detail and has a well equipped modern kitchen. It is in a peaceful location in the wonderful area of Northiam which is close to Rye. There are two bedrooms, one double and one single, making this a perfect base for either a couple or a small family. There is a large, well-tended garden which is shared but guests have their own lawned area and outside seating. Shop: 2.4 miles Pub: 2.3 miles Coast: 12.5 miles
Ground Floor Entrance: is to the rear of the property and is paved and well lit
Entrance Hall: housing a washing machine, and storage for storing own bikes, coats and boots

Kitchen: is well equipped with modern fitted kitchen units. dishwasher, integrated fridge/freezer, halogen hob and electric oven, extractor hood, microwave, breakfast bar and 2 stools, highchair
Bedroom 1: carpeted with double bed and bedside tables and lamps, wardrobe and chest of drawers
Bedroom 2: carpeted with single bed and bedside table and lamp, chest of drawers and chair and built in cupboard with hanging space
Bathroom: with tiled shower unit, w.c, wash basin and heated towel rail
Garden: Large shared garden with owner but has its own guest area with outside seating and table
Parking: Private parking for one car on the drive

Notes: Meadow View is built in the eaves and as such has slightly restricted ceiling height in some places, notably at the sides of the beds in each room. Please be careful not to bump your head, particularly when you are getting in and out of bed.
Out and About:
The property is ideally located close to the village of Northiam with its renowned Wills Bakery, the beautiful house and gardens of Great Dixter and Sarah Raven who offers gardening and cookery courses. Visit nearby medieval Rye which has wonderful antique shops, craft shops, restaurants and a Kino digital cinema and the fantastic sandy beach at Camber. The historic town of Battle with its famous Abbey is a short drive, and the area is abundant with vineyards and National Trust properties; Bodiam and Sissinghurst Castle are within an easy drive.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The accommodation is very comfortable and the views from the windows a delight. Everything in Meadow View has been supplied with great care and attention to detail. Many thanks to Cherry and David. P.S. The weather has been marvelous.
