Battle Abbey Cottage is simply charming, located in the small town of Winchelsea which enjoys far-reaching views across the marshland to the distant sea.  This is an ideal location for exploring and walking, with Winchelsea Beach just down the hill and the ancient town of Rye just a few miles away with some great places to eat and packed full of history.  The property has been furnished and styled to a very high standard creating a real sense of home and lifestyle.  The sitting room has a wood burning stove and is comfortably furnished opening into a well equipped contemporary kitchen.  This in turn opens into a bright conservatory dining area and has great views of the garden. There is a pretty summer house in the garden, a perfect spot to take a book and enjoy this wonderful outside space. There is a local pub and a deli offering a selection of local produce, good wines and much much more.  Shop: 200 yards   Pub: 300 yards   Coast: 1.5 miles

Garden: Is enclosed and has a patio area outside the conservatory with steps up to an area of shingle and planted raised flower beds.  There is a paved path to the top of the garden with a summer house which is for guests' use.  There is a small outside table and 2 folding chairs
Heating: Gas central heating and a wood burning stove. 1st basket of logs provided.
