Reviews

Myself and six friends spent 2 days/nights here in September 2019. I cannot fault it in any way. Alison, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome (the home-made lemon drizzle cake was something to behold). Everything had been catered for to make our stay easy and pleasant. The free-range eggs were amazing as was watching the hens happy in their home. The house itself is beautiful with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the 3 minute walk to the pub was very useful! We all had such a fabulous time that we are already booked in for next year. Thoroughly recommend.

Miss Aly B,

A beautiful house in an elevated position with excellent views, which has to be its main selling point. Eggs are available from the owner whose hens reside in the field next door!

Mr David S,

Properties are very clean with friendly and helpful owners.

Mr John H,

Excellent property. Very clean with wonderful views, great walking and a lovely pub near by and very good service from Sussex and Kent.

Mrs S K,

Beautiful property with exceptional views. Five minute walk to local pub serving home cooked food Incredibly friendly owner. Gorgeous resident happy chickens!

Mrs Elaine H,

We loved this house! It was so spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved Gordon’s Happy Hens (and their free range eggs!), the playhouse and the quiet location. We were able to explore so much of Kent/Sussex using this home as a base.

Robyn P,

Excellent and it was in a fabulous location with extensive views.

Mrs Lynn V,

The Old Granary is in a perfect location for a family holiday with many attractions a short drive away. Your staff were very helpful and understanding when we had to rearrange our booking dates due to medical reasons, which are happily now all sorted! Thank you.

Mr John H,

We love this house ... this was our third stay at The old Granary and we hope to book again in the future. The house perfectly fits our requirements for three generations holidaying together. We love the garden and the amazing view. We also adore the chickens. The owners are very friendly and always happy to chat about the history of the farm and local area.

Miss K B,

A very good family 'home from home' close to a range of different activities. Superb vistas from the property and very friendly owners with wonderful home=produced eggs.

Mr Martin J,

We have been back 5 times as it is fantastic! The owner is very helpful and we just feel relaxed.

Mrs Master T,
